I am contemplating this life.
Man is primarily looking for happiness, but he is usually looking for
it in all the wrong places. He must live, it is obvious, and he must make
a living. He must try to adapt himself to foreign cultures - adapt, because
he will never be able to understand them! The ultimate culture manifests
itself in survival. The greater the possibilities that the development
of technology offers to the human mind, the more clearly the limits of
the mind can be seen. The imaginary limits of consciousness are large,
global. The real limits are small and local.
