Through the studio window at Kastelli

A snowfall seen through the studio window at Kastelli was something well worth seeing. Viljami Koivunen's lorry was always ready for work. When we moved to Kastelli in the mid-1940's, it was just being annexed to the town. There were no water and sewage pipes, but there was a great feeling there like in an old bus. I tore some of that feeling into my paintings, gave exhibitions, and all my works actually found new owners. Not a single one remained with me.
