...until today. There was a medieval wooden sculpture there, a Pietà. I drew it. It was dark in the church. The only light fell on the sculpture. There were no other people present, so I could concentrate in peace and quiet. I took a dark pencil from my box, which turned out to be violet later in daylight. I finished the Fiskars village picture at home. I did not touch the Pietà again.
