The true needs of man are
small. When he grows old and gives up the external, the truly
real enters. The individual is nothing in the earlier sense. His
title, profession and distinctions have lost their meaning.. He
may even have lost his reputation. Concealed things may have been
revealed, even crimes. The truly real knows nothing about them. The individual
faces the truth. He has taken off his hat, gloves and scarf. There
they are, in front of him - on the chair. |
