2001 Cycling, 40x50 cm, oils

Riding my bike, I sweep across the scenery. I am one of those who think like Harry Martinson did that the development of technology should have stopped at the bicycle and the treadle sewing machine. But Kant already said much earlier that nothing can stop the development of technology and there is no roof to it. This is something that we can witness every day. Even artists try to improve by a thousandth like some race driver.
