March 9, 2003  Wed  8ºC    7 p.m. I am walking and stooping, with my head hanging low like an old horse.

March 10, 2003 Wed 7ºC  7.40 p.m.  I bought "The Analects" by Confucius (551-479 B.C.). He died at the age of 72 - at my age. It has been said that he had 12 close pupils, four of whom were especially close. This reminds me of another religion that developed later, in which the disciples also created the character of the master in their writings. This is also how Socrates was born, or Väinämöinen in Finland. They carried a tradition of thousands of years from generation to generation.

"The Master said: I do not lament that people don't know me. I lament that I don't know people."
