 The statutory duties of
the Environment Office of Oulu are environmental
protection, environmental health control and basic
veterinary services. The Food and Environmental Laboratory
provides support for the office’s statutory duties.
The
Technical Centre is responsible for the management of
the City-owned woods and water areas, fishing waters and
licences as well as the nature trails and allotments in
Oulu.
