Oulu Swimming Pool
 Oulu Swimming Pool, in Raksila, is one of the biggest and
most popular in Finland. As well as the pool area, there is
a gym, sports hall and facilities for judo and boxing. The
upper floor houses a café, meeting rooms and a sports advice
centre.
 Exercise, relax and play
The pool area includes an eight-track 50-metre pool which
can be divided with a partition wall, a lap pool with six
25-metre tracks, children’s pools, a pool with a
35-metre-long slide and an activity pool with various water
massage spouts.
There are two one-metre and three-metre springboards as
well as a diving tower with four levels: three metres, five
metres, seven metres and 10 metres.
Accessible for everyone
The swimming pool is accessible for everyone, including
people with physical disabilities. The activity pool, for
example, is equipped with a hoist and the lap pool has a
wheelchair ramp.
