The municipal portal is called OmaOulu and is now operational.

Would you like to renew your library loans, read your read e-mail and see the online timetables for buses easily and all at once? Soon it will be possible as the municipal portal of the city of Oulu will unfold to members of the municipality during the years 2007 and 2008.

My own page

As a resident of Oulu you will have your own personal web page, through which the online services of the city can be used with considerable ease! From a service platter you can gather onto your home page the services which interest you most. As a result different services can be accessed all at once after a single login – wherever you want.

Have you longed for an easy-to-use and reliable e-mail address for yourself? As a resident of the City of Oulu you can have an e-mail address free of charge through the municipal portal. You can read your e-mail through your personal page with ease while attending to other matters.

A meeting place for the residents of the city of Oulu

Alongside your personal page you are free to create your own public web page where you can place your photographs and blog for others to see. And if your friend is logged on simultaneously onto his or her portal page, you can contact him or her - for example with an instant messenger!
